I waited over 1 hour past my scheduled appt. & there were still 6 more patients after me waiting. She left door open on... previous patients & you could hear everything, including how she was terminated from 1 nursing home & then complained about the management of that home. I had worked at this facility before & I found her comments not only out of line, but wrong. She didn't clean exam table between patients & I refused to sit on table because of that. She diagnosed me with fungal infection of nail, even though I had tests done a few months previously that stated I didn't have fungal or yeast infection of toe. She refused to consider anything else & did no tests to confirm her diagnosis. I asked about the possibility of SCC since it can resemble fungal infection & I had Squamous Cell surgery about 1 year ago. I also have 1 toenail growing straight up & she didn't know why it would be doing that. She is the only podiatrist in the area, but next time I will drive 2 hrs to see another podiatrist, who will hopefully listen, have a clean office environment & actual confirm what the problem is prior to treatment. She also did not know how to spell or pronounce either of the 2 meds I was taking, even though they are common meds. I had to spell & pronounce them for her & she's the doctor? more details
