Dr. Ferzaad Moosa, MD

About 5 years ago Dr. Moosa performed "mono-vision" surgery on my right eye for reading which allowed me to keep the dis...tance in my left eye as my distance vision was excellent. This was highly recommended by his staff. Instead of suggesting that I be fitted with contacts to emulate the procedure, they couldn't wait to get my $2,500.00 while I was there at the office and being one that had never had vision surgery before, I thought, these guys are the professionals, they know what they're doing. As a side note, they placed all the written disclaimers in front of me after I had my eyes dilated which in itself should be illegal as you cannot see a thing. After months of complaining to this Quack that my vision was horrible, blurred and I couldn't drive safely because of the poor depth perception, he just kept telling me that my brain would need time to adjust to the new procedure. Of course this never happened and he ultimately refused to refund my money or restore my previous vision when after 1 year it was obvious that I would never be fully accustomed to this procedure.

I went to this office because it was recommended and advertised by Dr. Laura when she still had her radio program. I've learned two very valuable lessons, never trust advertising and if the Dr's. last name bad sounds they call the middle east, run away fast as they only care about paying for their leased Mercedes and believe deceit and lying is an art form.

I would give big money if I could turn the clock back five years and make the correct decision to walk out of that office and not allow Dr. Moosa to touch my eye, my vision has been a huge nightmare ever since that fateful day.
