I would NEVER recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone for the fear of him treating them the way he treated me. Dr. Palmer has a "...better than you" attitude, he is rude and has NO bedside manners. The only person at his clinic that should receive a "gold star" award should be his nurse practitioner, Joe!! He is AWESOME!!!, All of Dr. Palmer's office staff was always very RUDE to me anytime I called with questions/concerns.
My wait time at his clinic was 2 hrs. My wait time at the hospital both times were 4 hrs. (diagnosing visit and then my procedure visit). When Dr. Palmer come up to my room after my procedure, he informed me, " Don't call me when you get home unless you are dying." I would really like someone to tell him that he isn't God and bring him down a notch or two.. I'm 40 yrs. old and I would hate to see the way he treats his elderly patients. I have found another cardiologist and will not even be going back to him for my follow-up visit. He also made very RUDE comments about my weight (which I'm only about 30 lbs. over weight) but he could lose a couple pounds himself..... I can see a cardiologist being concerned about your weight, but no need for mean and hurtful comments..... Thank God this is a bad experience I will never have to deal with again.
