Lina (does laser hair removal) and I got along well or so I thought. One day before my appointment with her, Dr Resnicks...'
mom called to saying they needed to cancel saying that the laser was down for repair. Then 2 minutes later she calls me right back and confirms the appointment, the very appointment she literally just called me to cancel! So of course my appointment was rescheduled. Lina told me that the office occasionally has issues with her (Dr's mom) on the phone and a few other tasks she has as well. She included the fact considering the mom's age, she's pretty much placated. Lina also told me that the laser wasn't down putting this all on his mom. Mom went right under that bus.
At my next session with Lina, she gave me some products for free, as an apology for the confusion. She gave me what was supposed skin bleaching cream 'that was strong". She married 3 bottles of a white powder and one bottle of a liquid to mix when I began using it. Whatever it was, it wasn't bleaching.
In August 2018 Lina told me that she'd be out for 3 months having both knees replaced. I, myself, was going out of the country later that month. I told her, 'don't you dare forget about me' as I pointed my finger at her. She knew that I did this in light of the appointment issue.
She assured me that she would not forget. I also did it because, if for 'some reason' that I did get 'forgotten' would seem odd that she'd forget, considering the depth of the discussion we had that one day.
Guess what? I was forgotten. All of the money that I spent on the hair removal, was all for nothing, wasted. My time, mileage & money flew out of the window. Too much time has passed. Was I supposed to call them, after the the appointment issue and the bleaching cream did not work? Was I to force them to take me? It's what I felt like not doing.
She and I used to follow one another on Instagram.
I include this say, how could she possibly 'forget'? After a time, as she got settled back at work, I'd like to think that she'd remember. Their computer programs don't have reminders to reschedule clients who haven't been in a while, you know, to keep the money coming?
Also, she is the one who offered me the option to tip her more so she can do my entire body for - apart from the offices knowledge. Now everything is suspect to my brain is this situation. The items seem small but in fact they aren't, it's what's behind it that causes me to have these feelings and emotions. Again, I wasted the extra tip money for having my entire body done.
Later, in hindsight, it made total sense. I'd have conversations with the ladies at the front desk, while I was making my next appointment and many times they'd look at me with a confused look that also looked they did not want to correct me, but just pacify by smiling and then turning their heads. I always felt like a confused woman because they'd look at me strangely, many times. We never ever had cross words so I'm at a loss about all of this.

This review, in essence, is a modified version that I wrote, twice, to the office asking for the Dr to please call me, not Lina. Lina called, no one else gave me a call, either. Both of the 2 letters that I sent to the office read 'personal for the Dr only'. I can only guess that they did intercept both of my letters addressed for the Dr's eyes only. I did not want to speak to Lina for another excuse about something. No message was left other than to call the office back or any other words.
Now, no, no intentions in going back for any service. But I would like to have all of that money back. more details
