Absolutely AWFUL. I have many complaints about this facililty. The wait takes hours, so take a snack! The staff, Shard...ay and Brandy, are the most unprofessional Medical Assistants I have ever had to deal with. They lack professionalism and will tell you anything to get you off of the phone. I have had emergencies regarding my teen, and each time they would tell me to just take her to the hospital, but the hospital would tell me that the DR. would have to call to reserve a bed for the patient. I have left messages to speak with Dr. Venkatesh and he would never return my calls. When my daughter was admitted, he never spoke with me to explain his diagnosis (how was she evaluated, or was she ever properly evaluated?) or the medications he was prescribing her. My teen was hospitalized 4 times, and mostly due to side effects from being prescribed the "wrong medication" for her condition (which he's changed 4 times)! Upon discharge from the hospital, he prescribed my teen medication, but not enough to last until the next appointment. When I called to request a refill, the staff told me that I would have to call the pharmacy, the pharmacy would fax them a request, and it would get filled the same day. Four days later, I called to inquire about why the meds had not yet been refilled and they were rude, explained that the Dr. wasn't even present on the day of the request. They said they received the request at 4:45pm, but they closed at 5pm. I asked so why it wasn't refilled four days later and they had no legitimate response. I was so upset! I left a message to speak with Dr. Venkatesh about the incident and to complain about his unprofessional staff (who kept telling me that I didn't need to have "attitude" with them, spoke over me, and then hung up on me). The medical assistant called me back to tell me that he would be cancelling our next appt. and sending me a letter. He did not even have the decency to return my call and take the complaint. My teen was left without any medication (because he still refused to refill the medication) and medical care, which could potentially harm her under her condition/diagnosis. I would consider his actions unprofessional and negligent. I do NOT recommend this facility under ANY circumstance, especially if you have a teen that requires serious medical/psychiatric attention. more details
