Dr. Al-Kunani is not only unsympathetic she is clearly only looking to line her pockets by subjecting patients to unnece...ssary and devastating surgical procedures. I came to her with pain and a cervical prolapse. Upon quick examination and after failing to ask about my Gyn history she fully recommended I have a hysterectomy as soon as possible or the pain would become more severe from the prolapse. Being in my 30's I was upset by this diagnosis. I was dumbfounded and my husband was in shock. Wanting a second opinion I went to another Dr that was shocked at my diagnosis and the hysterectomy that was recommended. It turned out it needed pelvic floor therapy and my pain went away. The prolapse remained but was never the cause of any problem and didn't require any procedure. Dr Al-Kunani was ready to strip me of my womanhood without thinking twice. This is similar to what happened to a friend that went to see her. My friend had fibroids in her uterus that caused some pain and irregular cycles. She was told by Dr Al-Kunani that before the fibroids became cancerous she needed to have a hysterectomy. Also in her childbearing years my friend was very upset. After her second opinion, my friend was put on the pill to regulate her cycle and told that she did not need a hysterectomy and that her fibroids wouldn't suddenly turn into cancer.
