If you go to the ER at AAMC and NP Anne Ferguson is working, minsist on seeing a real doctor. I wouldn't trust her ever.... I had a terrible accident, tibial plateau fracture and was brought into the ER by ambulance. I waited over an hour before she saw me. When she did I was in so much pain I couldn't speak. My leg was broken and she came into my room (after I was curled up in a ball crying in pain) wanting to push on my leg. I was in such agony I pleaded with her not to touch it, push it, bend it whatever. She glares down at me and said " you can't be in that much pain without swelling! And I can't help you if I can't asses it "! Then she left. I was there for hours- alone with one family member. Ferguson never communicated another word to me. I never saw her again. I sat in that room for hours until the next morning I had an unsuccessful attempt at X-rays. The X-ray techs tried to straighten my leg to X-ray it and I screamed in pain. I was sent back. Finally after hours in the ER someone ordered enough pain medication for me to straighten my leg for X-rays. I never ever saw Ferguson. It was around 6am the next morning a very nice man from orthopedics explained to me my leg was broken and would need surgery. He stabilized it in a brace and patiently explained my injury and what needed to be done. He was the only compassionate, caring, competent person that actually communicated anything to me. Anne Ferguson and the two X-ray technicians were so incompetent I can't believe they are actually allowed to deal with patients.more details
