Dr. Anil Uberoi, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Uberoi for about 4 years. Without a doubt, she is one of the best practicing female physic...ians in Baltimore in my opinion. However, I cannot say the same for her staff. I cannot even get a simple prescription called into the pharmacy in a timely manner. For instance, today is 01/12/2018, I called their office on 01/04/2018 to inform them that I am out of refills and if they could please call my pharmacy with an authorization to refill my Rx. Well, I gave them 3 days to react because of past experience with this medical office it will usually take them a couple of days to respond. Well, 3 days passed and the pharmacy had not received the authorization yet. After leaving the pharmacy, I called Dr. Uberoi's office about 4 times because they would not answer the phone...and I know that they were there because I was parked in their parking lot. I was so upset, so I decided not to go in, I just went home. I called them when I got home, and I went straight into their voicemail. I called them again on 01/09/2018 during office hours and again I went into their voicemail so I left a detailed message regarding my prescription refill...by this time I am completely out of my medicine. Today it is 01/12/2018. I called them during office hours regarding my refill. As I was explaining my dilemma to Dr. Uberoi's nurse, she hung up on me. I called back because I thought we were disconnected, and dummy me believed her. But, after it happened again, I knew that she intentionally hung the phone up on me. The next time I called, as I suspected, I went directly into voicemail. I left a message to the affect that I will be picking up my medical records in 7 days and because of my disrespected treatment as a patient, I must find another medical facility. There again, I loved being a patient of Dr. Anil Uberoi, but the staff is lacking efficiency 100%, and their professionalism stinks. I'm done with this office. I do not have to accept non-professionalism, no common courtesy, laziness, lack of compassion, limited office manpower, etc. from any medical office because there are too many to choose from. So, unfortunately for the obvious reasons, I will seek a new facility for my services. Dr, Uberoi, I wish for you the best. K. Kellam more details
