Seven (7) years ago Dr Mukherjee was informed that he needed to leave the Hospital and jump aboard a plane because his M...other was near death. My Mother was one of his many appreciative Patients. He had saved her life 20 years before (Colon Cancer). No more in remission, the Cancer returned with a vengeance, spreading throughout her body to other organs (5 Cancers). Dr Mukherjee needed to get on that plane to get to his Mother but didn't bat an eye when he told us that he will do all he can for my black Mother. He said, her condition was so bad she was expected to live for only 6 months if he engaged in lengthy crucial surgery. My Mother lived for six more months; what a blessing. What a choice to have to make. Both our Mothers have passed on but this entire Black family holds Dr Mukherjee in HIGH ESTEEM.
