I used Dr Gibbs for a private custody evaluation. My case was very straight-forward and I did win the court case. Howeve...r I have major issues with Dr Gibbs evaluation. He charged me nearly $22,000 for a straight-forward case. He wrote conditions into his agreement that prevented me possessing a copy of his report(only for lawyers and other psychs), even though I paid for it. He had me sign legal documents when I went for the first consultation which he did not send through my lawyer. He was critical of my religion. He implied in his report that I lied in his personality questionnaires to try and influence the report, ridiculous!
As one attorney half-jokingly commented to me: The private custody evaluators are vultures circling the court system. I tend to agree and sorry I did not go for a partial or focused evaluation, not this extremely expensive full evaluation. more details
