My name is Robert 77 living in Miami with medical issues. I was a patient of Dr. Alan Kutner for years. I trusted and expected good and proper medical treatment from him.
In late July, 2021, Dr. Kutner's office called and told me my August appointment wasn't necessary. I had just seen Dr. Kutner in July. It was too soon for an August visit. I was on an every six month checkup schedule with him.
A few days later, Dr. Kutner saw fit to personally call my home ranting in a harsh and intimidating tone suggesting a no-show fee for an appointment missed. Dr. Kutner refused to renew any of my meds for weeks. I suggested we both could make small adjustments. (Get over it) and re-schedule with him, but Dr. Kutner refused me saying our doctor-patient differences are too great and that he now considered me to be a non-compliant patient.
Dr. Kutner’s PGSF offers a herd-style medical practice that is more into patient compliance than patient satisfaction. I think Dr Kutner began to sense growing dissatisfaction from me and wanted to hide negative information located in my files.
1). Dr. Kutner fired me as a patient. 2) He removed my medical history on the PGSF website. 3) He has banned other PGSF doctors from seeing me as their patient. 4) Dr. Kutner’s associate Dr. Wolfson refused to honor a scheduled follow-up appointment with him for a new and pressing colonoscopy issue.
*Another issue of concern was: Research shows 60% of older people are vitamin D deficient. Every year I was with Dr. Kutner I displayed skin conditions that suggest vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency impairs one’s immune system. I have concern due to Covid and the long term negative effect Vitamin D deficiency had on my internal body. Dr. Kutner did not test for or offer treatment for that until I mentioned a blood test that was taken elsewhere that showed the deficiency. I had to ask Dr. Kutner to prescribe 50,000 IU Vitamin D3 for me.
Dr. Kutner acted in bad faith and counter to my health interest. There is simply no justification for his vindictive, knee-jerk actions. Dr. Kutner’s untimely denial of services adds to my stress and continues to slow and limit my finding much needed replacement doctors for my current care needs.
